TOWN OF NEWFANE HISTORICAL SOCIETY APPLE BLOSSOM FESTIVAL MAY 18, 2008
You are invited to exhibit at the Town of Newfane Historical Society’s annual Apple Blossom Festival, Sunday May 18, 2008.
MODELERS – 120 feet of new tables for model engine display complete with piped air. The building is a recently constructed pole barn with concrete floor, lighting, and electricity available.
ENGINES – An outdoor display area with room for any type of engine. We especially welcome displays with the engine performing the type of work it was used for in the past.
TRACTORS – Old farm tractors are a valuable addition to our displays. Bring your tractor, whether restored or not. We encourage the exhibition of pre 1955 equipment. If it can be belted to a load all the better. Parking space for your hauling trailer will be provided.
ANTIQUE VEHICLES – Antique car and truck owners are invited to display their vehicles in a specially provided area.
AMATEUR RADIO DEMONSTRATION – A demonstration of amateur radio stations will be presented by The Lockport Amateur Radio Association Inc. Amateur radio operators are invited to stop in and operate or just chat with the gang.
TWO LOCATIONS – Be sure to visit the Van Horn Mansion on Lockport Olcott Road just north of Drake Settlement Road. The main Festival grounds are at the corner of Ide and West Creek Roads. Turn West at the stoplight at the corner of Lockport Olcott Road (Rt.78) and Ide Road.
